Our skilled luthier / owner, Greg Fowler, provides high quality repairs for new and vintage instruments, ensuring that they retain their unique character.
Custom Commissions
We offer custom commissions for violins, violas, and cellos. You will be able to work directly with our luthier on choosing the model/style of your preferences, along with varnish choices and aesthetics.
Choosing the proper fittings and strings will also be part of the customization process.

We offer comprehensive restoration services for new and vintage musical instruments.
Our luthier has studied under several professional luthiers and is equipped to bring your instrument back to its original glory, ensuring that it sounds as beautiful as it looks.

We are a small boutique stringed instrument shop and are able to offer new hand-built instruments as well as new budget-focused instruments.
We also have a large inventory of antique / vintage instruments from all over the world for those players that appreciate history and unique patinas on our aged instruments.
Bow Repair - Rehairing
Our shop has a great inventory of new and vintage bows to choose from for most instruments.
Repair and rehairing bows is offered at reasonable prices, and we also carry a variety of new bow frogs to spice up your current bow if desired.
Tonewood Sales
One of my passions has always been to research and acquire special tonewood with character and many years of aging for producing quality toned instruments. I have selected each set of tonewood based on the wood's individual properties.
Our selection includes wood from Europe, Canada, Germany, and the United States.
Apprasials
Apprasials and evauations are available for a fee and will help guide you with important decisions around insurance and establishing value for buying or selling.
I have studied stringed instruments for many years and have established an extensive network of knowledgeable luthiers from around the world that can assist.

Instruments restored with love and care Before and After
This full size cello is over 25 years and has been sitting in a dark corner without any attention or proper finishing.
My first steps included looking for any cracks or blemishes needing touchup prior to the application of various treatments to the wood in order to bring out the beauty of the grain and enhance the tone of this cello. It is now restored and vibrant!

A secondary treatment has been applied to seal the wood prior to the varnishing process.
Next, colored varnish is used to enhance the beauty and provide much needed protection to this beautiful cello.
